Three-Day Tour Itinerary
Tour Start: Your driver will personally pick you up around 8:00 PM (from any location in Bali, except Amed and Lovina – extra charge for these areas).
🚗 Night: Drive to Mount Ijen with stops upon request. A technical stop at the Bali – Java ferry crossing, where you can either stay in the car or step out for a coffee, snack, and fresh air.
🌋 Early morning (around 3:00 AM): Hike up to Mount Ijen (a leisurely 1–1.5-hour ascent). Witness the breathtaking sunrise and take in the mystical landscapes.
🏖️ Morning (7:00–8:00 AM): Breakfast, relaxation, and swimming at a Beach Club.
🚙 Day (11:00 AM): Depart for Mount Bromo (7–7.5 hours on the road). Stop for a scenic field lunch with panoramic views. Check-in at a cozy hotel in a village just 4 km from Bromo’s viewpoints.
🚜 Night (2:30 AM): Your jeep is ready! Get ready for an adventure: off-road driving, sunrise watching, and exploring Bromo’s crater.

What’s Important to Know Before Booking?

- Minimum age for participation is 8 years old
- The hike is suitable for beginners but requires basic endurance
- If the climb feels too challenging, you can use the local trolley service to reach the summit (available for an additional fee)
- The tour is not recommended for people with asthma, respiratory conditions, or cardiovascular diseases due to sulfur fumes.
- Clothing & Gear
- The temperature at the base is around +13-17°C, but at the summit, it can drop to +7°C, so warm clothing is essential (or can be rented at the base)
- Closed, non-slip footwear is required (sneakers or trekking shoes)
- Gas masks and flashlights are provided before the hike, so there’s no need to worry about bringing your own.
- Transport & Road Conditions
- The journey is made in premium-class 7-seater cars, with enough space for passengers to rest and sleep comfortably
- No child seats are available, which may be inconvenient for families with small childs
- There will be technical stops, including a ferry crossing and breaks upon request.
- After the last location (Madakaripura Waterfall), we head to the city of Surabaya, from where we will fly to Bali. The flight takes about an hour, and very soon you will be back on the island. We have excluded the return journey by car for your comfort.
