Ijen Tour Itinerary
🚗 Departure – Your driver will pick you up around 8:00 PM. There will be stops upon request, including a ferry crossing from Bali to Java. You can stay in the car or step out to enjoy the fresh night sea breeze and a hot drink.
🏔 Hiking to Ijen – Arrival at the base around 2:30 AM. Meet your guide, change clothes, and take a short rest before starting the ascent. The hike takes 1–1.5 hours at a relaxed pace. Enjoy breathtaking views, take photos, and explore.
🌊 Beach Club Relaxation – Around 8:00 AM, head to a beach club (40 minutes from Ijen). Enjoy breakfast, swimming, and relaxation.
🛏 Return to Bali – After some rest, you’ll travel back to Bali. You can sleep comfortably during the ride. The driver will drop you off at your hotel.

- The hike is suitable for beginners but requires basic endurance
- If the climb feels too challenging, you can use the local trolley service to reach the summit (available for an additional fee)
- The tour is not recommended for people with asthma, respiratory conditions, or cardiovascular diseases due to sulfur fumes.
- Clothing & Gear
- The temperature at the base is around +13-17°C, but at the summit, it can drop to +7°C, so warm clothing is essential (or can be rented at the base)
- Closed, non-slip footwear is required (sneakers or trekking shoes)
- Gas masks and flashlights are provided before the hike, so there’s no need to worry about bringing your own.
